Europe: On the Path to Becoming a "Continent of Robots"?
Share
Robots are key to effective automation, merging multiple advanced technologies into a single, efficient machine. Germany is leading the way in Europe, with 415 industrial robots per 10,000 employees in the manufacturing sector, according to the 2023 World Robotics Report. A survey by Reichelt found that 63% of German companies use robots, compared to 58% in France, 51% in the Netherlands, and 48% in Italy.
These numbers reflect a broader global trend. While South Korea has the highest density of robots per 10,000 workers, China is the clear global leader in total robot installations.
